Question: How does Purity purification work?
Answer: After reaching boiling point, the electronics keep the water just at boiling point for a number of minutes. This is a unique feature for the Purity Range, utilizing the heat in the water to vaporize organic contaminants without creating overboiling. During this time, bubbles of vapour form and rise to the surface, effectively ensuring the escape of the VOCs.

The prolonged heat in the water kills bacteria, viruses and pathogens.

Two different levels of heater controlled by the electronics minimise energy use whilst fulfilling the vapourising cycle, in turn controlled by the timer function.
Non-volatile substances such as salt, metals and fluoride are not affected.

Question: Why should I be concerned about the quality of my drinking water? Is it really a health threat?
Answer: However good the water that enters the pipe distribution system, it still has to be chlorinated. Chlorine reacts with organic material in the pipes to create THMs, which have been demonstrated to be carcinogenic. There are literally thousands of chemicals spreading throughout nature and ending up in our drinking water. Authorities can only test for a fraction of them.
