How it works
Aqua Optima water filter cartridges have a unique patented five-step system to remove impurities and potentially harmful substances from tap water and maintain a consistent fast flow rate throughout the life of the product.
When the water has run through the filter, the kettle
is switched on. After reaching boiling point, smart
electronics keep the water just at boiling point for
a number of minutes. During this time, bubbles of water
vapour form and rise to the surface, effectively ensuring
the escape of remaining volatile organic substances
that affect taste and smell. The prolonged heat in
the water kills bacteria, viruses and pathogens.
