New water treatment technology to be tested for removal of pharmaceuticals
The Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the Royal Institute of Technology, both in Stockholm will test a new type of water treatment technology called membrane distillation at the experimental Water Treatment plant Sjöstadsverket in Stockholm.

Proposal for merger
Purity’s parent company HVR Water Purification AB (publ) has asked Grant Thornton to prepare a proposal for merger to be presented at the Annual Meeting 2010.
At present, Purity’s products are only marketed in BeNeLux and to a limited extent in Sweden. Purity’s board has decided to explore the markets in China, India, EU and the US during 2010 and has contacted potential distributors.

After restructuring the company from a marketing company to a supplier of products and technology for the house-hold water purification market Purity, has written a new business plan to attract marketing and financial partners. Main focus has also changed from EU and US to MENA, India and China.

Vägledande Reklam AB has acquired 40 397 shares B and 9 603 Shares A in Purity from Verdane Capital AB. Vägledande Reklam AB has thereby increased its holding to slightly above 3 percent of the capital and is thereby the second largest owner after HVR Water Purification AB.

Purity was to be listed on the Nordic Growth Market in 2008 but because of the weak markets the listing was cancelled and an entirely new marketing strategy was developed. Negotiations with new customers/distributors after the change of strategy was initiated in January 2009 and the first order was taken from Habitatsolutions in Holland on the 2nd of April 2009.
